Pull cord switch wiring instructions?

A standard cord pull switch is being put in a shed. There is three connections in the unit, - L1, L2, and COM.
I know the earth and have installed it on the separate earth connection on the wall plate but I want to know where the supply LIVE goes, also which connector is used for the Neutral and where the other switch "LIVE" connects.
Cheers! DMC

hi mate if you are running a feed (live ,neutral and earth into the switch then the two brown/red cables go to common and L1 and the two blue/black wires are linked together in a terminal block and do not go to the switch. If you are running a pair of swith wires and the light has a feed in it then the red /brown goes in common and the blue/black is connected to L1 ensure the L1 cables are tagged up as live .
