Simon, did renault get back to you? I have the same problem. Tried a different radio which didnt work either so guessing its the wiring rather than the radio its self

I too have this problem - radio fine on Saturday but dead on Sunday morning. Fuses all good so have called a Renault dealer and am waiting for a reply. Can anyone give me any ammunition so I get this resolved for free?
Thanks

My radio ceased working ten days ago. Not used car since during very cold spell (-6/8C). Today battery so flat wouldn't even disarm. Phoned Renault garage to be told that my model (Megane Cabriolet 56 plate) was on recall due to this fault and that you need to disconnect the disfunctional radio during very cold spells or it drains the battery. Renault Dealer replacing the radio FOC.

The dealer fixed it for me free of charge.

I called the dealer and they said they might fix it for me free of charge even though my car is out of warranty. I have an appointment for Thursday.

If it has happened to too many megane cars, is it not the company's responsibility to fix the problem free of charge?

Hi,
Same problem here. I have not changed the fuse yet but apparently it does not solve the problem.

Same problem here. Swapped fuses still dead. Today visited local Renualt garage who tell me they've had several failures since the recent cold snap...suggest you take it up with your dealer. Cheers
