Archos 605 Wifi Issues?

Doesn't charge, the screen tells me that it's hooked up via USB. The charging LED does not light up or flash and it's not recognized by my laptop when it's either in Ubuntu 9.10 or Windows Vista.

My Archos 605 80 g can't play flash 9 files. I pay for the the opera web browser that suppose to do that without installing flash player separately.
