Miniload light & on/off lights flashing?

I Have a Hotpoint WT540 Not long into the cycle the machine stops and th Miniload light & the on/off switch flash. I have to turn the machine off at the wall. After 5-10 min I try again but the same thing happens. Can anyone Help.
