It will open sometimes and sometimes not and when I do get it to open it will not load. It shows that it is loading but nothing happens

More or less same problem with mine with my 5200. Mine one opens and closes properly but mostkly fails to read DVDs while Audio CDs, Vedio CDs or MP3 CDs are properly read.

My service engineer identified it as a fault with the laser reader and i could not find any spare compatible to the set.

Did you find any answer yet from anywhere? PLease forward it to me and help.
