i have a toshiba ct 90101 rear view projection screen 42inch tv< when switching it on there is a red standby light along with a green flashing light and a timer symbol next to it.. how do i get rid of this?

I have a Toshiba ct 90101 36 inch rear view projection tv. I left it for about four(4) months without use and now i wanted to put it on but it came on for about 5 minutes then blacked out, though the stand by light still comes on when switched on.
What do I do?
