Fisher and Paykel GW611 computer board?

The valves in my Fisher and Paykel washing machine are not getting the full 24volts to open properly. I have tested every thing else to do with the valves and it's working fine. i.e water flow etc...
Is it hard to change the computer board or will I need to get a tec into do it? I am able to do most things but haven't touched the computer board yet

Have you checked the inlet valve coil resistance - 64 ohms at 20 deg C.? Are both valves not opening fully? Cold valve is a proportional valve which means it can be opened to different levels according to what temperature the control module regulates. This is done by varying the voltage to that valve. The hot valve is either fully open or closed & is not regulated. Changing the control board is quite straight forward & the new one comes with an instruction sheet to tell you how to programme the size of machine in to memory. It is an expensive exercise though to change it & then find out after that it did not cure the problem. F&P will not take it back once you fit it. A tech would try a new water valve first. If that did not work he could put your old valve back & then change the board.
