Why is water leaking from my Greenstar 28i condensing boiler?

Last winter I had water leaking out of the bottom of the boiler, from the condensing pipe. I was advised that the external part may have frozen. This year I lagged the condensing pipe & now there is water dripping out again, same place & at a fair rate. Is it possible the pipe is frozen, even with lagging? Any advice gratefully received!

I woke up to the same problem this morning...i too have a Greenstar 28i boiler, and it was definately the pipe that had frozen outside that was causing it. I've had the freezing pipe trouble since before xmas, and have to keep defrosting it...today was the first time it leaked that way though.

It has definately been caused by frost. I have the exact same boiler and problem. Its also very noisy when its switched on, and pressure barely reaches above 1 on the dial. Im due to book an engineer to have a look at it, but it sure is an expensive pain. Condenser boilers are so tempermental with the frost!!
