sorry, no answer, but I have the same problem. the on/off button is on the corner of the unit (poor design). my daughter dropped it and the button wouldn't come out. I opened the unit to try a repair... not able to. if someone knows how to replace/repair the *tiny* switches of these things, you'll have a great customer base....i'm looking for answers, too.
