cool radiator?

Hi,I have a gas fire, and a radiator under my front window.
The radiator operates hot and cold, which makes the room cold and drafty,I have bleed the system but its
still the same. The radiator has a thermostat valve fitted, and the heating works on a combi system.
The system doe's not appear to be leaking or loosing
pressure
any ideas please, thanks peo.

If the radiator gets hot then it appears to be working OK - if the radiator then cools down it may be beacuse the timer/programmer has turned off the heating or the room-stat is satisfied.

I don't understand...What has the gas fire got to do with anything? And how does the radiator getting hot, and cold affect the draft. It's holes under the door etc. that makes drafts.
Try turning the thermostats up to full blast, and see if it makes any diference.
