Can I Add Audio Out To My Television?

My television only has "audio in", but not audio out. Can I add an "Audio Out" connection. My television is an RCA 27 in. about 4 years old.

There is left hand & right hand stereo audio out on the scart socket... You can buy scart socket complete with lead and plugs marked audio out (In UK from Maplin)
