1) Do a virus scan & registry clean (get free CCleaner)
2) press Start. right click My Computer. Manage. Device Manager - are there any problems their
3) Test the USB port with another device. Could be what you are connecting is faulty
4) Don't connect everything (webcam, printer, etc) all at once. Turn PC on and connect USB items individually.
Your PC needs a chance to load drivers for devices.
(Once PC recognize devices then it will be OK to keep them connected)
