my baxi solo 3 has been working perfectly well untill the big freeze where now after the heating has been turned on it will burn ok for the usual 15 mins or so then turn off. Then after a minute it will burn again for approximately another minute before shutting off again. It will carry on doing this regardless of the thermstat setting (usually 18c) untill shut right down at the wall thermostat. Any ideas on the possible problem .Thanks.

try checking the room stat turn it up to full if its still not working it could be a fault on stat or thermistor prob,good luck

Haven't got the answer, but I've got a baxi solo boiler that is playing up. It fires up, but switches off when it appears to hit the boiler thermostat temperature. It wont come on again until I think the boiler has cooled down, even though the hall thermostat is asking for heat. Don't know whether its eletrical, something to do with the pump stopping when the heater reaches the thermo stat temp, instead of carrying on feeding the water through. This is just a thought I have, Im not trained in these things. Any other views to me would also be welcome. I've not had an answer from my post a week or so ago.
