You probably tried to do what I did & thats to use the Eurovox EX1100 as a satellite tuner. It is only meant to be used for cable tv, not satellite. I was also getting a 28% signal from my satellite cable.

what port on the back of the box do you have your cable pluged into? what it say under or next to the port?
