I have an electric pull switch in the bathroom. The cord has broken inside?

I have an electric pull switch in the bathroom. The cord has broken inside, what to do how to repair it?

First make sure the electric is off at the mains. Most of these switches are quite easy to unscrew, and the attachment for the cord should be easy to see when you've got the cover off. They use several different ways to physically attach the cord, but it's usually knotted or in a spring clip. New cords and pulls are available from B and Q etc. if the old one isn't long enough to re-use.
