have a bose soundock - its charging but no sound?

Any suggestions of what the problem might be and how I get it fixed?

Thanks - I tried that and it worked the 1st time but then wouldnt play next time turned on. Re did all the cables again several time but hasnt played since - still charges though.....

Mine does it if I have turned it off with the remote and removed the ipod. When I put it back the ipod back on, it charges it but wont play anything not even using the remote.
Turn off at the mains, disconnect and re-connect all cables. It should play first time.
