I have a GE VCR Plus, Model VG4065. Whenever I turn it on, either manually or using the remote, and whenever a timer recording starts, the display panel flashes for 1-6 minutes, and then the clock display time is advanced 6 minutes. I cannot do anything while the display panel flashes. Once it stops, I try to turn it on again. Sometimes I can and other times it will start flashing again. Everything else works like a charm! What's wrong with this dinosaur??
