jay, February 2010
bathrooms and kitchens attract alot of mold , they are one of hte most used rooms in a home and a bathroom always has moisture in the air . a big generator of the mold on ceiling in a bathroom sometimes it is that the ceiling has no insulation between the ceiling and the attic. this cold spot will attract warm moist air from the bathroom and warm moist air always wants to go the cold est spot . that is why your windos will fog up or condensate in a bathroom first . fixing this cold spots may help also using a mold resistent paint will do wonders and the use of a power fan for more answers go to www.airguardiaq.com

"For good" is difficult...

It's just moisture that doesn't dry out - from condensation etc. - ventilation helps - you need to scrub with antifungal wash - let it dry and scrub again. A dehumidifier will help to dry the walls and leaving a window slightly open all the time too.
