27 inch sony trinitron will not turn on?

My Mothers 27 inch sony quit and turned off while watching tv and will not turn back on. unplugged it for ten minutes and can only hear clicking a flashing light 5 times. I,d buy her a new one but at 92, but anticipate new remote learning difficulties
