hot house?

my house is unusally hot ive recently replaced a leaking rad but house is still unusally hot

What an odd question if it is actually a question.

Central heating systems - you must have one because you talk of a leaking radiator - have several methods to control the heat.

Thermostatic Valves on radiators - you may not have these
Timer Programmer - you likely have one of these and can adjust the On/Off times of the heating
Room Thermostat - usually on the wall - a little dial to set the temperature you find most comfortable.

Other things you can do are to open a window or two - ventilation is good - it keeps condensation down. You might also consider wearing fewer layers of clothing. So many choices for you.
