My old but trusty oil boiler is constantly switching on and off. I am told by my repair man that the flue (combined, vented straight out of side wall) is taking exhaust fumes into the air intake, but there is no fix apart from disconnecting the air intake pipe and leaving it inside the boiler, but it smells of fumes when I do this. Any ideas?
