safety relief valve?

got a ideal combi boiler had new safety relief valve put on,but even when i top pressure up to 0.5-1.0bar it still spurts water outside,i was told it should,nt do that at such low pressure,any ideas please.

Your right it shouldn't. They are normally set at about 3 bar so it sounds faulty to me. The only option is to get it changed again. Sorry.
