AM I being ripped off?

I have a Samsung LE40N73BDX almost 3 years old. Works great as TV but when I play dvd (Sony DVD player - from hard drive or disc) then two thin horizontal white lines appear across the screen one about 1/2 inch from bottom one about third of the way up from bottom.

Local company claim needs new Main PCB at cost of £ 200, would this seem reasonable, I would just like to justify the expense against buying a new one from J Lewis now at £ 549 + 5 year guarantee????

Any ideas appreciated.

The main PCB might cost as little as £20 to make but it's not unusual for the price of even a simple £5 boiler PCB to sell for £120. The service agent will make a small profit on it but not much. Considering Labour - hour perhaps and other overheads plus the cost to buy-in the PCB then £200 does not seem overly excessive. The replacement PCB might also fail at some future time.
