Our Minivator (M10072235) will not move from the bottom of the stairs?

Our Minivator (M10072235) will not move from the bottom of the stairs. The rocker lever is set to I but even though electricity is supplied to the chair the light below is not on.

Is there a manual reset available or is the rocker leaver broken?

Any ideas please?

If the chair has been switched off, or if it has been parked off its charge points (at the top & bottom of the rail), then the batteries will discharge below the capacity of the charger to recharge them. You will probably need new batteries or your supplier may operate a swap scheme and fit fully charged ones for you.
I've just been through this with my dad's Minivator.
