The boiler appears to be trying to light but trips out with a constant clicking of the igniter.
control panel relatively new and appears in order
water pump operating fine
orange light flashing on front of boiler control but not indicating lockout

could this be a short, loose wiring to control panel or fail to detect flame?

or other......

maybe flame detection failure like you say or a faulty gas valve / no gas. lockout light only comes on for overheat on this boiler.
