I have just moved into a house equipped with a Ideal Mini combi boiler.
- At first it was working fine.
- Couple of weeks later the burner kept turning off when you open hot water tap
- It sort of fixed itself and now the Burner no longer turns itself off but the water is cool. have turned temp dial to full and can only open the tap half to get a decent supply of hot water.
it could be a loose diaphragm in the diverter valve, the diverter valve could be failing or a temperature sensor failing, your boiler could be scaled and require a new plate heat exchanger, doesnt sound like an easy fix
