On my dvd/vcr recorder the vcr works but the dvd part, the door won't open so that a disk can be loaded. once the DVD is inside, if you hit the eject button it won't comeout. Can you help? this machine has been rarely used and the warranty expired. I don't want to have to get a new machine. Its an RCA, I can't remember the model.

If you are lucky it just needs the small belt underneath the dvd tray replacing, a company called cpc
(google c p c) may be able to help just measure the old belt and order one a little smaler.
