My recorder is DH-610OP/DHR-8100P approx 2 years old.
It will not play or record from hard disk or dvd disk and the dvd tray will not operate. I have a dvd disk in the machine and I can't get it out. It will not switch on or off with the remote but will switch off with the manual control on the front. It will also switch on from the front button but that is all
