How can I fix my DVD player?

I have a 7" Polaroid DVD player PDV-0707N. When you put a disc in it will spin and say loading then it will stop spinning for a minute then start spinning again then it will stop again and say no disc on screen. What can I do to fix this?

Try to clean the laser,with a q,tip wet in alcohol,and dry it with the other end,do this gentle.

Not reading the disk. Could be dirty/worn laser. Obtain and try a DVD laser cleaning disk.
