mending part of door frame?

I have a small shed and the bottom of the door frame is rotten. I have cut off the rotten part at an angle of 45 degrees and have cut a piece of wood to fit the gap. However I do not know how to fix the wooden frame to the brick/flint surrounding the door. Can I use masonry nails and a strong glue. It does not have to be a perfect job! Thank you.

try "No-nails" from any good diy shop it's better than glue.
