Tevion portable DVD player?

My son has repeatedly opened and closed the lid of his dvd player and it now isnt acknowledging when you have a DVD in it - keeps saying the lid is 'open' - does anyone know where i can get this fixed as i need it for a big trip we are taking next month! thz
