I have some trousers that a too short and can't be made longer but I feel they would make great skirts, I know it can be done but don't know how. So how do I turn trousers into skirts?

I have seen these for sale, in denim. It appears the seams have been undone, both inside leg and centre ones,(NOT side seams) and then one piece is overlapped over the other from halfway down/ish the front/back seams, and then topstitched on. You would then have to trim away the underside piece. Good luck, hope this helps!
