Agitator not working?

My Amana wash machine fills up up water and uses the spin cycle but won't agitate the load. The model number is LWA60AW

Hello,

What happens when the washer is in the wash mode? Does the motor run? If the motor runs and your not getting good movement from the agitator, you will have to pull it out and see if it is stripped.
