When I download the NVIDIA driver software update for my computer. The computer gets an error. And I need to use the restore point to get my computer to work again.

To be honest, if your computer works okay with the current drivers and software, just leave it be. You can tell Windows Update to ignore the update.

Check the NVIDIA website -there may be more information about known problems.

Try downloading from Windows Update if you're downloading from the NVIDIA website or vice-versa (shouldn't make a difference, but...).
