how to recharge my accumalator?

I have a CIMM accumalator fitted on my narrowboat. I have over pressurised it with a foot pump. How do I release the pressure??? THANX

if its got a car valve to pressurize it , just depress the valve stem middle spindle to let excess out,this is just the same as if you over inflate a car tyre
