needles?

hi can you tell me if it is possible to replace the felt strip which lays under the needles on the basic Brother Knitting machine please. thank you.

Do you mean the number strip? if so yes you can get them on ebay or any of the knitting machine shops. But they dont have the felt under them anymore its just a plastic strip. You need to put a smear of oil under the strip to help hold it in place.

Hi Veronica,
Most machines have a sponge bar which lays on top of the needles; you can buy replacements - eBay is a good place to look,
or you can refurbish your old one. There is a good set of instructions on the knittsings website.
