How can I fix a Jet Black?

Hi there,
I got a Jet Black sewing machine from Toyota for my wife, we sent it back because it didn't do anything correctly, they sent a brand new one and now we found that the buttonholes aren't done correctly either. Which could be the cause of this? It seems like the textile stays still and doesn't go forward nor backwards.
Thanks a lot.

Thanks a lot. I think it is a very useful advice, as soon as we put it into practice, I'll let you know if it works. You mean we should push it softer, don't you?
Apart from the little issue with the buttonholes, I would like to say that the Jet Black is a highly recommendable sewing machine. Maybe it is not for "professionals", but a very good machine if you sew at home for "fun". We made a beautiful patchwork to hang it on the wall. ;-)

Hello Miguel,
Sounds like you have to much pressure on the presser foot, slacken the screw or dial on the top of the machine or inside the faceplate.
