High pressure and dripping outside pipe Halstead Ace High?

The pressure on our Halstead Ace High Combi Boiler is slowly creeping up and is at around the three mark at the moment. The pipe that leads from it to the outside is constantly dripping water. Please can anyone tell us what the problem is and how much we can expect to pay to repair it. Thanks!

Thanks Mohamed. We bled the radiators but that didn't work, eventually the boiler tripped itself off. We got a plumber to have a look and he said the same as you but now the diaphragm at the bottom of the boiler has gone so he's going to replace it for us on Friday. No heating at the mo but we still have hot water so not all bad. Thanks again and Best Wishes :D

the expansion vessel needs some air.
drain your system and fill your expansion vessel with air using a pump. The pressure inside the vessel should be at 1.5 bar. Refill the system, bleed the rads and start it.good luck.It won't cost you a penny;may be a pump with a pressure gauge from TESCO if you don't have one
