my new tarmac drive is going brown due to the bitchium is any answers to pu?

my new drive of 4 months is gone brown stained with some odd white patches,i m told from the place where the tarmac came from its a problem with the bitchium,they say it happens sometimes any help please or information on whether this is true, this is the granite tarmac that i thought and was told syayed black thanks ec

Having laid miles of tarmac[6mm bitmac] asphalt both cold and hot laid and can honestly say none turned patchy, lightened yes to a washy grey but not patches of white or brown. I assume you laid it yourself as you refer to supplier.

Go back to the supplier and ask what they are going to do about the patching how can it be cured/covered effectively and without cost to you as they supplied a known inferiour product.

If no joy from them then off to Trading standards, usually attached to the local authority [assuming you are in UK] seek advice on how you stand with this type of product under the sale of goods act especially as the company knew about the patching /discolouring problem.
