how do i repair a moth eaten wool coat?

I have a wool coat made in 1945 that has very small moth holes in it. How can I repair it?

Take small pieces of the material from the inside seams and using clear fabric glue these on the inside of the coat. However, you must dryclean the coat 1st to make sure that there are no eggs still in it and to kill any that are. Otherwise you are reparing it for nothing.
If there are quite a few holes and you cannot get into it without spoiling the lining, you would have to think about enbellishing it on the outside, I did this with a skirt. Stars work well, either in the same colourway or contrast colour, not forgetting to do either collar or cuff's or both.
Another way is to shorten or lenghten coat, the same way.
It is always best to check whatever you use is colourfast and doesn't shrink. Hope this helps
