Replacing the bearing and seal on a hotpoint aquarius WMA30 is it a diy job or does it require specialist tools? can the bearing be removed with the drum in the machine?

hi there,hotpoint have a 5 year parts guarantee and a sliding scale of repair depending on machine's age.the repair is not really a diy job.ring nearest hotpoint service centre before doing owt else,you could be pleasantly surprised as the wma range has had bearing problems since it first came out and hotpoint are trying desperately to rectify it.
