Karcher 400 handgun repair?

I stripped the handgun to check for blockages. On rebuilding I can see how the trigger opens the valve but see no mechanism to close it when the trigger is released. Have I lost a spring or am I overlooking something obvious?

Hi, did you manage to get this resolved? I have the same issue. I opened up the handgun and the spring fell out but I don't know where it sits.
