My washing machine wont go on spin cycle it keep stopping and it wont release the water.

hiya, hope i can help. im not a repair guy or anything but if it were me , i would empty the washer best you can then disconect the pipe to the pump, the pump is where the pipe goes to that gets water out of washer.... take the pipe off that comes fropm drum to pump and make sure its all clean. look in pump and make sure fins can turn freely.

check filters as well and clean them ...
