how can i fix my mp4 player beside buying a new 1?

my mp4 wont let me add anything(music,photo,ect)
and on properties it show's my me how much room i use
it says its 75% full and there absolutly nothing is it

try right click over it and format it. YOU WILL LOSE ANYTHING ON IT. BUT ITS WORTH A SHOT. then once formated you can then add files again.
