i have an intergated dishwasher dipolmat ADP8132 type 12043 it has a button on the righthand side for switching on and off and a button for the program with 5 choices ie soak delec eco strong and super there is no display just a light by each option. The light flashes by the eco button constantly but will not move to another setting and does not start cycle can any one shed any light on this problem for me?

Had exactly the same symptom - flashing programme select light but no error lights. Couldn't select programme, so concluded microswitch on pcb had gone. Got a friend to unsolder the switch (having isolated the machine, double-checked it wasn't functioning and having made a note of all connections). Replaced microswitch (cost just 50p from local shop) and got friend to solder new switch on. Bingo - programme selection works and machine behaving normally. Note that a replacement pcb (ie - timer) would have cost £120.00 new. Happy to provide any more details if anyone needs them.

Although the other answer to this query may be valid, my (very recent) experience is that it is more likely to be the switch itself that is faulty. I have just had the cover off the dishwasher and 'fooled' the system by shorting across the contacts of the microswitch driven by the button and all works fine.

It is less likely to be the door switch, as the door has to be in the open position anyway for the button to be accessed.

I do not yet know whether I have to buy a whole new circuit board or whether I can solder off the switch and replace, which would obviously be a lot less expensive and seems very possible.

We had a similar problem - I think your door lock has broken - it seems a common fault - they can be ordered and easily fitted, but if the door lock isn't in the "I'm shut and ready" postion the program cannot advance.
