I have a TV with Freeviw inbuilt and once bought a DVD recorder to go with it. I could only get the analogue channels to record and so took it back as I don't want a separate Freeview box.

If I were to buy a DVD recorder with Freeview built in, would I be able to connect it to the same telly or would both having Freeview confuse it?

It will work fine, but consider a recorder with a hard disc drive as well thery are much more convienient.
