I have just had my hotpoint aquarius fixed after the same problem...i did put question on here but didn't get answer and I desperately needed it fixing. The repair man has now shown me what to do in the future. You will have a leak because the filter is blocked - you need to remove the filter and remove what is blocking it, mine was full of rubber (which had come away from the back of a rug i washed). As soon as it was emptied and replaced the washer went back to working like a dream. If you need help locating the filter, please say and i'll give you more detailed answer. Hope this helps.
