there is no heat from the dryer part of my hoover washer dryer wdm120?

there is no heat from the dryer on my hoover washer dryer wdm120.
I think it might be a smmal switch on top of the dryer duct.
the switch has on the side 10a 250v, III-01, T250, if this helps

I had no heat; the thermal cutout had tripped as described above. I reset them; still no heat. I found the dryer heater was working but the dryer fan motor had seized. I poked the fan with a screwdriver and it freed up. I put a few drops of oil on the spindle (avoid the brushes) and it worked correctly.

Thermal cutout has activated due to overheat probably. This may have occurred due to either a blockage in the L-shaped hose at the back of the machine (fluff and gunk) or fluff build up on the dryer fan preventing it spinning. There is a reset button on the top of the metal housing containing the element but you need to fix the underlying problem first! This is the big metal tube going across the top of the drum accessed via removal of the top cover.
