how replace the power switch on a dc18?

i need to replace the power switch on a dc18. however i can not get the cover off. do you know how to do this?

loosen and remove the top 2 screws on the back side of the cover. Loosen the bottom 2 screws but don't take out. Now push on the 2 bottom screws to pop the cover loose. Remove bottom 2 screws, cover falls off.
