Should I fix my CK3526R mitsubishi that is 15 years old?

When you push the power button, it clicks on, and then you hear it click off by itself. The green program timer light comes on and then goes off when you do this. There is no sound or picture. Is it worth trying to get someone out to fix it given that it's 15 years old? I don't really want to spend the money to get a new 35" TV, but don't want to spend too much to fix it either! Any ideas would be appreciated!

It could be many things but a short circuit overloading the power supply is favorite. So, you could spend £60 getting it repaired and the TV will still be well worn.

15 years for a TV is old. As an analogy it would be about 105 years old in human terms :) So, unless it has sentimental value, it's time to get yourself a new puppy,..eh i mean TV.
